Palm Canyon Trail

The stunning Palm Canyon Trail is a short drive from downtown Palm Springs, and is part of the Agua Caliente Indian Reservation.

The 15-mile Palm Canyon has a moderate 2-mile loop that travels down into the canyon from the Trading Post, along a creek with shaded fan palms, then back up to the exposed ridge in full sunlight.

Fees: An entrance fee is required when driving into Indian Canyons, providing access to Palm Canyon, Andreas Canyon and Murray Canyon.

Hours: Check hours.  There are only weekend hours in summer due to the excessive heat.

Water: It is a requirement to bring water.
