Lost Lake Oregon

Visit a stunning alpine lake just 2 hours from Portland Oregon.

Lost Lake Oregon is located 2-hours east of Portland in the Mt Hood National Forest.

It's a beautiful lake with unusually clear depths, and breathtaking views of Mt Hood across the water.  This is a truly secluded and peaceful place.  It's also one of the most photographed lakes in Oregon.

There's a 3.2-mile walking loop around the perimeter of the lake, and plenty of picnic tables near the water.

The only accommodation is at Lost Lake Resort, open seasonally from May to late October.  The rest of the time the area is snowed in.
