Eleven Winery is 10 minutes drive north of the lovely town of Winslow on Bainbridge Island in Washington State.
It's tucked away in a forested setting on Day Road, with a rustic tasting room inside a warehouse building. The tasting room flows to an open air patio, with plenty of umbrellas for shade. There's also a chic tasting room on Winslow Way in Winslow.
Eleven Winery was founded in 2004 by Matt Albee, who was once a professional bike racer competing against the likes of Lance Armstrong. Reminders of his past career are scattered around the winery, in the form of bikes attached to the walls in the tasting room.
