Taylor Shellfish Farms is along the scenic 21-mile Chuckanut Drive on Samish Bay in Washington State, 13-miles south of Bellingham.
Purchase a dozen delicious oysters from the oyster bar, then sit outside on a picnic table area while enjoying incredible views of the Salish Sea.
If you're lucky you might even see a boat unloading a fresh batch of oysters. If it gets too cold outside, then retreat to the covered porch area.
Visitors can indulge in five types of delicious oysters, including the succulent Pacific Oyster introduced from Japan in 1921, washed down with a selection of wines and craft brews. Guests can also feast on buttery mediterranean mussels, geoduck and manila clams, shrimp, dungeness crab, soup and salads.
Don't forget to pick up some items at the retail store on your way out.
