Seattle Asian Art Museum

The Seattle Asian Art Museum is housed in a stunning 1930s Art Deco building in Volunteer Park

The small collection at the Seattle Asian Art Museum includes silk paintings and watercolors. 

There are also buddhist sculptures, Chinese calligraphy and pottery, and Japanese kimonos. 

Marvel at the replica Ming Dynasty Camel sculptures at it's entrance.  

Volunteer Park is one of Seattle's most beautiful public spaces.  It has acres of rolling lawns and gardens with views of the Seattle skyline.  

Other attractions at Volunteer Park include an enchanting early 20th century Conservatory with orchids, tropical plants and cacti.  

Energetic visitors can also climb the 106 steps to the observation deck at the nearby Water Tower.

Just outside the park, the Volunteer Park Cafe is great for coffee and delicious meals in a relaxed setting.
