The Green Lake Wading Pool is the perfect place to take kids on a summer's day.
It's located in Green Lake park, just 10 minutes north of Seattle's downtown.
There are two beaches at Green Lake, but the wading pool is a great option if you have little kids.
There's a lovely grassed around the wading pool for families to relax, and ample trees for shade.
Just across the road is Ben and Jerry's (icecream) for a sweet treat.
Know before you go
- Location: North end of Green Lake Park (close to the intersection at East Green Lake Drive N and Wallingford Ave N).
- Open: 11am - 8pm in July and August.
- Restrooms: Adjacent to the wading pool.
- Parking: There's no parking lot at the wading pool. Park on nearby neighborhood streets.
