The Cascadia Art Museum is an 11,000 square foot gallery in Edmonds, just north of Seattle.
It has six modern galleries, and a gift shop selling northwest themed books and cards. The gallery opened in 2015 at the site of an old Safeway store, and you can combine it with a visit to Scratch Distillery next door.
The Cascadia Art Museum focuses on the work of Northwest Artists from the period 1860 to 1970, and has hundreds of pieces in its permanent collection.
There’s a convenient parking lot directly out front, and you only need an hour to see everything. You can also sign up for lectures, art walks, art films, and yoga in the museum.
