The KidsQuest Children's Museum is perfect for kids under age 9. 

The fabulous KidsQuest Children's Museum is located on Seattle's Eastside in Bellevue, at 1116 108th Ave NE Bellevue, WA 98004.

There's lots to explore at the two level KidsQuest Children's Museum, so set aside 2 to 3 hours for exploration.  

Climb a three story high structure, splash around in the Water Gallery, sit inside a real truck, load items on a conveyer belt, get messy in the art studio, play with trains at the Cityspace, and so much more!  There's also has a toddler room.

10 best things to do at KidsQuest 

1. Climb a three story high tower, all the way to the ceiling.

The first floor of the KidsQuest Children's Museum has an elaborate Climber that's three stories high.  

Kids can only enter and exit at the bottom of this structure, so parents can relax while kids climb to their heart's content.  The Climber at KidsQuest is recommended for ages 4+.  

2. Splash around in the Water Gallery at KidsQuest.

The Water Gallery is just down the hallway at KidsQuest. Kids can put on a smock, and splash around with floating objects in a series of cascading troughs. 

3. Hang out in the fun outdoor play space.

The outdoor area is known as Sticks and Stones, and has blue foam blocks were kids can design, build structures, then knock them down. The outdoor xylophones are also a big hit and inspire a deep sense of curiosity.

Kids can also gain an appreciation of the natural world, through play tables full of river rocks to stack, and shells, grass and foliage to play with at KidsQuest.

4.  Sit inside a huge blue truck at KidsQuest.

The On The Go room has a real truck cabin for kids to climb inside and explore. 

5. Move quickly to load the boxes on a conveyer belt.

The conveyer belt is adjacent to the truck, and transports boxes from one side of the room to the other.  Kids can load the boxes onto a conveyer belt, then crank the wheel to get it moving. 

6. Learn about how to recycle everyday materials.

The Recycle Rebuild room educates about the value of recycling everyday materials.  Creativity abounds as kids repurpose materials into fascinating new creations.

7. Take toddlers to their own playroom at KidsQuest.

The second floor at KidsQuest has some great spaces for toddlers. The Tot Orchard is a gated room, to ensure toddlers are safe and contained.  

There's climbing structures, a tractor to ride on, a red barn house, and toy food and cooking utensils.  

Nursing moms can utilize the quiet room off to the side with comfortable chairs for privacy.

8. Read books at the magical Story Tree.

The Story Tree is another key feature on the second floor at KidsQuest.  This magical space has a tree with a staircase to climb, and shelves lined with books.  There's even a theater for kids to perform in with costumes to inspire their imaginations.

9. Explore the fun Cityscape.

Across the room is Cityscape.  A mini-city has been created here at KidsQuest, with a red barn with egg-laying hens and a cow, and the Bellevue Mercantile Store where items can be purchased at a play cash register.  The giant train table has lots of wooden trains and tracks to play with.  

There's also a rotating table where kids navigate a ball through a maze.  Those that love to tinker, will enjoy the nearby construction table.   

10.  Get messy in the Art Studio

To cap off a great visit, stop by the Art Studio where plenty of paint and paper is provided for budding artists.
